So since we last spoke I believe the caps have played once on Sunday and won 3-1 Brooks Laich, John Carlson and Jason Chimera each with a goal I don’t remember who had the goal for the Senators but I will absolutely look it up for you. The Devils also played the Panthers on Saturday, and looked much better than the Caps did, losing to them in overtime, one question looming in my mind: is it Marty’s time? However seeing as the devils just traded their CAPTAIN!! And fired their head coach maybe we are looking at a team that’s about to make a comeback, but I am not holding my breath. Stone mentioned to me earlier that the team in the last place has the first round draft pick; maybe the Devils are aiming for that? How is that fair!
Gabriel Landeskog who is defiantly a Swede on my to watch list, not only is he an ADORABLE 18 year old guy from Stockholm, Sweden who as of now is currently playing for the Kitchener Rangers, for the Ontario Hockey League (Wikipedia) but he was named Captain of the team and is the first European to be named Captain in history (for the OHL)! He was sidelined with an ankle sprain in the World Junior Championship but I am sooo excited to see him play!!! I’m putting bets on him being picked at least the first round if not the first pick overall. Oh yeah and he is a Sagittarius who enjoys long walks on the beach and snow cones, well maybe I made up that last part but his birthday is November 23. (1992) What a baby, and I thought John Carlson was young; even though we are the same exact age give a few months.
